"This hotel involves 45 million USD in investment. Overall, the Adjara Group employs about 5,500 people. Just imagine the effect of having 5,500 happy families standing on their own two feet, which is of vital importance. As far as I know, this hotel in particular employs almost 600 people, which is equally important, and I would like to congratulate Tbilisi on the opening of this new excellent hotel, which I am sure will serve both Tbilisi residents and others as their favorite gathering place," Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated at the Stamba Hotel just recently opened by Adjara Group.

The Head of Government visited this hotel in the building of the former Soviet Samshoblo Publishing House on Kostava Street in the company of the capital's Mayor Kakha Kaladze, Head of the National Tourism Administration Giorgi Chogovadze, Founder of Adjara Group Temur Ugulava, and Adjara Group's CEO Valeri Chekheria.

"I am at a loss for words to describe my impressions. It is truly a special and unique hotel with its original style, which distinguished Adjara Group from other business groups. You are all aware of the popularity of the Rooms Hotel that has become one of the most considerable brands not only in Tbilisi but also in the country and the wider region. I am convinced that the Stamba Hotel, which perfectly combines the old and the new, being itself totally unique and special, will grow into a similar attraction not only for tourists but Tbilisi's residents and the entire population of Georgia alike. I would like to thank Adjara Group, its founder Temur Ugulava, an investor who genuinely cares for the country. All of his investments are in Georgia, and it is very exciting that our businesspersons are making such investments throughout the country," the Prime Minister emphasized.

At this point, the newly established hotel employs 600 people and operates 42 rooms. After the Stamba Hotel becomes fully operable, it will employ almost 750 people and operate 150 rooms.

The hotel incorporates Café Stamba where the guests will be able to enjoy Georgian and European dishes made with produce from local farmers.

The building renovated by the designers of the Adjara Arch Group, Adjara Group's architectural team, retains its original, historical appearance. Old print devices were discovered during renovation. The project has been implemented with financial support from Bank of Georgia. With its exceptional interior, the hotel has joined Design Hotels AG.
