Aircraft parts manufacturing factory will start producing in January 2019. Before that, official opening of the factory is planned for 10th May. Mikheil Begiashvili, financial director of ATC, talked about this in Sakmiani Dila TV show. According to Begiashvili, after opening of the enterprise, they will certification procedures, which will last till the end of the year.
“The company should obtain ISO certificate, as well as certificate from producers. After that we will be able to provide the client by composite parts produced in our factory”, - state Begiashvili. According to him, the first purchaser of the produce will be the founder, Israeli company ELDIT Systems – Cyclone. For the future, it is planned to conclude direct contracts with major clients.
“In the first year, we are planning 7 mln USD sales, which will gradually increase and reach 60 mln USD after 3 years. We are planning to employ up 300 people in the factory by 2020”, - stated Begiashvili.
