Infant food production to be opened in Georgia

Production of infant food will be started in Georgia. The Kula branded products will be sold in the market, - Vano Goglidze, director of the company said to BM.ge. According to him, the enterprise will be opened in 2019 in Gori and produce juices and fruit mushes for infants over 3 months. “We a re planning to start production in September-October 2019. Presently we are estimating the volume of investment needed and by June we will already know the figures. Juices and fruit mushes for infants will be made of natural row material. We own 50 ha of orchards in Gori Region: sour cherry, plums, raspberry, sour plums. We will also add other fruits. We are planning to first sell our products on local market, since competition on export market is very big. In Georgia, everybody tries to import cheaper products. Imported high quality goods are expensive. We can offer our consumers same quality for lower price,” – stated Vano Goglidze.
