12 people and 13 sites fined for cigarette smoking

Since the Georgian Law on Tobacco Control came into force, within the period between 1st and 8th of May inclusive, 46 notifications were received by patrol police in the whole country. For breaking the law, patrol police imposed fines on 12 physical persons and 13 legal entities. As we were explained at the Ministry of Interior, in the rest of the cases no offence was proved.
