External Merchandise Trade of Georgia in January-February
External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 1 683.5 million in January-February 2018 (preliminary data), 16.3 percent higher year-on-year. According to Geostat, the value of export increased by 25.5 percent reaching USD 446.4 million, while the import grew by 13.3 percent and amounted to USD 1 237.1 million. The trade deficit equaled USD 790.7 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 47.0 percent.
