Minister of Economy Natia Turnava declares, that the agency together with the Ministry of Finance is developing the reform of state-owned enterprises. She spoke about this during the presentation of the long-term strategy - "Economy 2030".

"We have specific quantitative tasks; For example, from 2025, the total portfolio of state-owned enterprises should be transferred to absolute profit and there should be no unprofitable enterprise," Turnava said.

The state-owned enterprises have a loss every year. In 2019, 68 companies completed their operations with a total loss of 237 million GEL. The assets of state-owned companies totaled 12.6 billion GEL, while their liabilities amounted to 8.2 billion GEL.
