Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia and Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) met Paul Hilbers, Executive Director of the IMF and Jihad Azour, Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department (MCD) of the IMF within the scope of the Annual Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group (WBG) in Washington D.C.
Dignitaries reviewed the bilateral relations and discussed the current and medium-term fiscal and monetary policies pursued by the country.
From the MOF, the meeting was attended by Giorgi Kakauridze, First Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia and Deputy Ministers Ekaterine Guntsadze and Mirza Gelashvili.
