According to the Government of Georgia's decision, additional point restrictions will come into force. The reason is the current epidemiological situation and the rapid increase in the number of infected.
In particular, by the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council:
1. From today, movement is restricted in big cities - Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori, Poti - from 22:00 to 05:00.
This restriction will not apply on:
- International freight transportation;
- (in agreement with the Operations Headquarters) Persons and vehicles whose movement is critical to the performance of official duties, including medical and pharmaceutical, strategic and media representatives, and delivery service couriers.

2. All organizations will work until 22:00, except for medical and pharmaceutical facilities and facilities of strategic importance.
3. Both municipal and private kindergartens will be temporarily closed in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Gori, and Poti;
Also, special measures will be taken in these cities to reduce the number of people in municipal transport. Transportation during the day will not be restricted.
The government says the imposition of additional point restrictions depends on the epidemiological situation and how epidemiologists' established rules and recommendations will be followed, including wearing a mask and keeping social distance, including during the political processes.
