According to Economy Minister Natia Turnava, about 3,000 small hotels have requested to subsidize the loans.

The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development stated this during the presentation of the plan aiming soften the economic damage from the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

"There is a separate package for small hotels and I am very proud that up to 3,000 small hotels are already registered and apply for – “non-assistance”. This is a subsidy for up to 50-room hotels in order to finance bank’s loan interest rate within the frame of program Produce in Georgia," Turnava said.
