Adjara Group will spend 13.5 million USD to make a modern hotel from Historic Sanatorium Arazindo in Abastumani.
The company is also cooperating with Wings and Freeman Capital to raise funding from the United States International Finance Corporation (DFC) to develop the Rooms Hotel Abastumani.
According to the group, in cooperation with USAID's Economic Security Program, Adjara Group Holding will train Abastumani Hotel staff in accordance with international standards in order to strengthen human capital.
Rooms Hotel Abastumani is scheduled to receive guests from winter, 2022. The project will create about 150 jobs and high-paying employment opportunities for locals, which will contribute to the development of the regional economy.
A 76-room hotel, located in the unique climatic zone of Abastumani, will host conference and meeting rooms. The restaurant and bar of Rooms Hotel Abastumani will offer guests a gastronomic concept program from Adjara Group Holding “Farm to Table”, which will be focused on healthy food.
One of the main goals of Rooms Hotel Abastumani is the development of healthy tourism.
The project will create facilities and programs aimed at healthcare. The highest quality services and infrastructure in line with international trends will contribute to the development of a healthy lifestyle for both local and foreign tourists.
