“Only part of the operating air companies in Georgia resumed flights with some restrictions”, Giorgi Shengelia, the founder of GASA told Business Morning and in the interview, he made a focus, that consumer behavior changed on the aviation market, which reflected on the purchase of tickets.

“Current situation in terms of purchasing airline tickets and planning a flight looks like the condition, we had 15 years ago. Customers are more careful; they buy airline tickets at the last minute because there is a risk that any country can change the entry rules the day before the flight. Transit flights are effective now, and those who operate direct flights are in a difficult situation," - Shengelia said.

According to him, the airline ticket price is grown and it is planned to maintain this pricing policy.

"The expenders are grown when the flight load is low, so the company cannot make a profit”, - noted Giorgi Shengelia.

According to the founder of the company, Pegasus Airlines will operate flights to Istanbul 7 times a week from today. While Air Arabia currently fulfills two flights a week, the third frequency will be added from April this year.
