Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze emphasizes that bed fund in the healthcare sector is expired. According to the Minister, work is underway to mobilize additional bed fund, but all resources are exhausted.
“Bed fund is expired in the healthcare sector. Work is underway on a daily basis, but the resources are dwindling. Doctors are tired, as they are working in this mode for more than a year.
I have high hopes for the wisdom of our society that they will stand by the Ministry of Health and doctors and refrain from the activities that are the main boosters in the process of spreading the virus," - said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
As for COVID-hotels, according to the Minister of Health, active work on this issue is underway with the National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and the mobilization of hotels continues.
"We have enough rooms in hotels at this stage, but the tourism administration is still mobilizing," said the minister.
