The National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) published a report on External Merchandise Trade. According to the document, exports amounted to USD 456 million in February, which was 6% or USD 27 million more than the previous year.
The value of export increased by 20% reaching USD 915 million, while the import increased by 9% and amounted to USD 1.98 billion.
The trade deficit equaled USD 1 068.6 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 36.9%.
