The geopolitical situation and sanctions have negatively affected the work of 54.3% of enterprises, reports the National Bank following a survey of enterprises.
"In the II quarter, 2022, 54.3% of enterprises said that the geopolitical situation and related sanctions had a negative impact on their activities, while the business of 12% of enterprises was significantly affected, while 41.8% of respondents noted that geopolitics had no impact on their activities,’ reports the bank.
In 2022, the demand for finished products slowed down slightly. The diffusion index decreased from 52.7 to 51.3, in the production of goods to 52 and services - 50.8, in mining - to 53 and manufacturing - 52.2.
The growth rate of prices for finished products of enterprises increased, the index amounted to 66. At the same time, the growth of prices in the mining and manufacturing industries slowed down, to 63.8 and 68.1, respectively, KazTag reports.
