Georgia will export a new armored vehicle Didgori Meomari (warrior) with a 120 mm mobile mortar module to a country in the Middle East, the Georgian Ministry of Defence reports.
The ministry says that the agreement has already been signed between the State Military Scientific-Technical Centre Delta and the purchasing country.
The purpose of the armored vehicle is fire support for brigade-sized or battalion-sized units.
The ministry says that the vehicle can also be used for fire support of mechanized units in maneuvering operations.
The State Military Scientific-Technical Centre Delta presented the Didgori Meomari with 120 mm mortar module for the first time in February 2019 at IDEX 2019, international defence exhibition and conference in the Middle East and Northern Africa region (MENA region).
