Georgian National Tourism Administration will participate in FITUR, Madrid International Tourist Fair in the status of a partner country on May 19-23, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported.
Amid the global Covid-19 pandemic, Georgia will carry out the marketing campaign via the fair’s online platform. Georgia’s tourism potential will be presented through banners, videos, presentations and information channels.
The Queen of Spain will open the fair. A total of 165 countries and 11 050 countries took part in 2020 FITUR. The number of visitors was 11 089. More than 7 500 journalists covered the tourist event.
