Georgia’s economy was down by 16% in 2020 comparing to the same period of 2019. The rate hit a record low for the last 10 years.
As for the level of economic growth in April 2021, given the base effect, it is likely to be quite high. In recent weeks, members of the Georgian government note that they expect high economic growth in April.
