From November 20 to December 2, on the border crossing point of “Tsiteli Khidi”, customs officers of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance, based on suspicion, upon the inspection of means of transportation of nationals of Azerbaiajn, have revealed undeclared golden items of 23,116.29 GEL (254,63 gr) and 54 pieces of diamond.
According to the expertise, the total customs value of the goods amounted to 27,968.35 GEL.
In accordance to part I of the article 168 of Custom code of Georgia offenders were fined in the amount of 27,968.35 GEL.
