"Igrika" has been producing textile accessories made with Georgian ornaments for three years, the main idea of the startup is to revive the forgotten cultural heritage in modern design, - Grigol Dalakishvili, co-founder of "Igrika" told BM.GE.

"Currently, both Georgians and foreigners are actively buying our products. We mainly create home accessories, and use existing Georgian historical ornaments to tablecloths, pillows, bags, etc.", Grigol Dalakishvili says.

"Igrika" products are sold on social networks and at various festivals. Co-founder mentions in a conversation with BM.GE, that there are many difficulties in the process of creating textile accessories, first of all, the main part of the necessary products is not available in Georgia and the startups have to import it, and the price of the material that is sold on the Georgian market has increased significantly.

"From the day of creation, the main challenge was to find material, because, for example, quality material for canvas was almost not available on the Georgian market, so we have to import all of this. We buy some pieces of this product in Georgia, however, their price has increased significantly, and this is one of the additional problems," says Grigol Tavartkiladze.

As for the investment, co-founder of "Igrika" states that they plan to invest a large amount of money in the process of opening a store and a workshop.

Products created with the ornaments of Georgian culture are designed for almost all price segments and their price ranges from GEL 45 to GEL 500.
