Teko Tukhashvili, marketing manager of the tourist facility "Chalet Kvariati" declares that the facility was rather loaded last year compared to this June. As she notes, interest has been higher on Booking.com, AirBnB, as well as on other local rental sites, but all activities are stopped after the warning on water pollution due to Russia's destruction of the Kakhov hydroelectric power station dam.
"All reservations are slowly canceled. Since our hotel has a different concept from other seaside resorts, we have kept the vacationers, Chalet Kvariati has cottages in the mountains of Kvariati. We are not dissatisfied, but this incident affected the number of local and foreign tourists", says Teko Tukhashvili.
"Chalet Kvariati" is a tourist complex consisting of three cottages. According to Teko Tukhashvili, each cottage has two isolated bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms and recreational spaces for common activities. The cost of the night depends on the season and ranges from GEL 350 to GEL 400.
