Each person must know who’s their family doctor and their phone number – Head of NCDC Amiran Gamkrelidze addressed citizens today after the Inter-Agency Coordination Council meeting.
According to Gamkrelidze, only 15 to 25% of infected cases should be managed in hospitals, and all the others – in ambulatories.
“Since the initial work-load is on the primary healthcare, you must know who your family doctor is” – Amiran Gamkrelidze stated and added that it’s essential to wear a face-mask in open spaces as well.
