Beka Peradze, Head of Labour Inspection Department hopes that restaurants will no longer open arbitrarily on February 6.
According to him, the meeting with the representatives of the hospitality sector was positive.
"We had a very positive and fruitful meeting, as all challenges were shared by both the state and business. We have discussed all issues and don’t have an expectation that the announced rally on Saturday will be held again in any form.
The state shares their approaches. Initially, they will be opened in the open spaces and we will gradually announce the easing of restrictions, taking into account the epidemic situation. It totally depends on the implementation of the recommendations that restaurants will have to follow during this period," Peradze said.
