Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) considered the rates of SOCAR Georgia Gas and SAKORGGAS for 2020-2022.
Davit Narmania, chairman of Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission declared the reporters, that tariffs will remain practically unchanged for the regions.
“Today we are setting natural gas consumption tariffs for the regions - SOCAR and SAKORGGAS. I can say that tariffs remain unchanged, i.e. we do not have tariff increases. It is important that we have been actively working in recent years to adjust all parameters and indicators, make relevant calculations and take new tariffs based on this, and both in Tbilisi and the region, natural gas tariffs remain unchanged so we can congratulate the population”, Narmania said.
At the same time, the Chairman of the GNERC explained that today the Commission will set tariffs for 6 months, but then it will be extend up to 3 years.
