The pre-registration platform on COVID-vaccination was opened in Georgia on April 19. Those who want to take the COIVD jab can note in the system, which vaccine they want to take.
According to the statistics published on the web-page, Pfizer emerges as most in-demand vaccine in Georgia. 12,000 or 90% registered persons want to take Pfizer jabs, Moderna ranks as the second (50%), the 3rd place is occupied by AstraZeneca (22%). The 4th most in-demand vaccine in Georgia is Johonson & Johonson (14%); the 5th is Novavax (10%), the 6th – Sinopharm (6%) and the 7th – Sinovac (1%).
“Pre-registration platform will allow us to get rapid information on the number of persons, who want to take the COVID jab. Moreover, it gives them a chance to make a choice among the vaccines. Adults above the age of 18 can take part in the preregistration process”, - web page of Health Ministry reads.
