The Government of Georgia took the decision on January 22 to open shopping malls and stores from February 1.

The shopping facilities (excluding non-food markets) will renovate operating with the following regulations:

•Shopping malls and the retail sector will operate from Monday to Friday;
•Facilities will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m .;
•Unlike the pre-Christmas opening, dressing rooms will be open at the shops and customers can fit their clothes;
•Product return-exchange system will be enabled;
•Only one customer will be allowed per 10 square meters;

Moreover, the state will provide compulsory COVID-testing of employees at the trade facilities before March 1. After March 1, the business must conduct employee testing with their own funds.
