Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze has said at the presentation of the long-term plan for the development of the healthcare sector that the significant success of the agency is start of the universal vaccination process.
However, she notes that proper information of the population on COVID-vaccination remains as the main challenge.
"I hope that Georgians will express solidarity and urge each other correctly to take COVID-jabs in order to overcome the pandemic. The government took care of itself and purchased up to 3 million doses of vaccine, while we received up to 100,000 doses of vaccine by donation. So, the vaccination process is not threatened with the deficit.
The important challenge today is to properly inform the population in order to effectively manage the vaccination process in a short time," - said the Minister.
