Political relations between Austria and Georgia are at the highest level. I would like to thank our esteemed guest for his visit once again. We also had a discussion on how to deepen our relations in other directions, such as trade, economy, tourism, and investments - Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said at a press conference held together with Karl Nehammer, Federal Chancellor of Austria.

As the head of the government noted, Georgia is a very interesting place for making investments.

"Georgia is a very interesting place for making investments. We have been able to achieve double-digit economic growth for the last 2 years, in 2021 we had 10.5% growth, while last year it stood at 10%, which allows us to implement even more projects for our country. Georgia is one of the most attractive countries from the point of view of investments, we are in the 7th place in the world in terms of doing business, as well as one of the countries with the least bureaucracy and barriers, and we always welcome the entering of Austrian companies and Austrian investors in Georgia," said the Prime Minister.
