Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze claims that there is no problem with bedding in Georgia and, if necessary, clinics are ready to become centers for receiving covid patients.

According to Tikaradze, additional beds up to 2000 will be mobilized if necessary.

"Patients are getting infected, but they are definitely getting better too. We had more than 200 recovered people in Adjara. This process is called bed rotation and means an increase in infections will not lead to a shortage of beds. We have mobilized up to 3500 beds and up to 2000 patients undergoing treatment. There are patients in the triage area who are waiting for the answers to the tests or the intervention of the doctor to be transferred to the appropriate clinics," Tikaradze said.
