Tbilisi City Hall EBRD Bought New Equipment With The Support Of EBRD

Tbilisi City Hall acquired solid-waste collection vehicles, machinery and equipment with the assistance of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

According to Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, the municipality is implementing a number of projects in order for Tbilisi to become a leader among European Cities in terms of tourism. Kaladze notes, that 59 units of new equipment will serve Tbilisi from tomorrow. Tbilisi City hall bought a total of 74 units of special technique.

"With the support and assistance of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, we purchased 74 units of special equipment for various purposes. Of these, 59 units are already in Tbilisi, the remaining 15 units will arrive in a few days. All this was done to make our city even cleaner, more orderly, and from tomorrow this technique will start working in the streets of the capital.

I would like to thank the international financial organizations very much for this support and cooperation. Of course, it will continue like this in the future," Kakha Kaladze said.
