Today, Geostat will publish preliminary data of FDI in the 3rd quarter.
The statistics will be uploaded at 11:00.
To remind, FDI in Georgia declined dramatically – by 53.7 percent in the second quarter of this year. According to preliminary data, the volume of investments in the second quarter of 2019 was 187 million USD.
As Geostat explains, the reason for the reduction is completion of a pipeline project and reduction in liabilities to non-resident direct investors.
