Ukraine has received about three billion euros in financial assistance from partners.

"Currently, we are negotiating a total of about 7 billion euros, of which we have already received about 3 billion euros," Finance Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, on Thursday, the minister signed an agreement with Germany on a tied loan of 150 million euros. In addition, Ukraine received 300 million euros in loans from France and 500 million dollars in grants from the United States last week.

Marchenko noted that he saw the greatest prospects in the collective support mechanism. Thus, the Ministry of Finance is in talks with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

In particular, the World Bank created a trust fund to support Ukraine with contributions to be made by different countries. The possibility of granting Ukraine special drawing rights from other countries is being discussed with the IMF.

In addition, Canada is ready to provide a loan of $500 million.

As reported, Ukraine’s state budget loses about UAH 2 billion each day of the war.

On February 24, Russian president Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure facilities, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, ballistic missiles, and aviation bombs.
