Updated 2021 State Budget of Georgia Planned At 10% Economic Growth Forecast- Kovzanadze

Updated state budget of Georgia is now planned with a 10% economic growth forecast instead of 9.5%, - Irakli Kovzanadze, Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee writes on his official Facebook page.

According to Kovzanadze, Gross domestic product in nominal terms will reach GEL 65 billion.

“By 2022, the economic growth forecast is kept at 6%, while the deficit at 4.4% and the government debt is set within 52.2%”, - the post reads.

Kovzanadze writes on the Facebook page, that the Budget and Finance Committee will consider the Updated 2021 State Budget of Georgia for the next week.
