Gepherrini, a manufacturer of leather bags and various accessories, plans to expand its production.
As Ilia Geperidze, the founder of the brand, told bm.ge, the company is entering the Chinese market; In addition, a new export market - Israel - has been added, correspondingly the brand will be able to meet the growing demand with increased production capacity.
According to him, at the moment Gepherrini produces over 5,000 products per month.
"We have high expectations for China, we are talking about a rather large scale. So, we are going to expand the production line. Recently, Israel has been added to our export destinations. We produce 5,000 products per month, but it is not enough, correspondingly we will increase this number to 10,000.
We have a lot of plans, including opening a new store, but we are looking forward to the developments for the time being. The Russian invasion of Ukraine hurt us because we were represented in both markets – 8% of our exports accounted for these countries. Now we have left the Russian market and sales in Ukraine have stopped," said Ilia Geperidze.
Gepherrini has a total of 44 sales facilities in the international market.
