"Our main aspiration to become a member of the European Union means to have high-quality education as the EU countries have”, - said Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili before the presentation of the 10-year development plan for the education system.
He stressed the issue of access to quality education on the ground and said that the current Minister of Education, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, and his team had good visions and plans in this regard.
"After the Soviet Union, all spheres were damaged and the education system was severely damaged as well. Everything is related to education and science. Our main aspiration to become a member of the European Union, means to approach Europe in terms of education level," - said Irakli Gharibashvili.
