Which Are The Major Commodities by Exports?

In 9M2022 the exports of Georgia increased by 37.4% and equaled USD 4 097.2 million, - according to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

As of the document, in January-September 2022 copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 753.3 million with 18.4% of total exports. The exports of motor cars totaled USD 5.9 billion and their share in the total exports amounted to 14.4%. The exports ferro-alloys occupied the third place standing at USD 4.3 billion and constituting 10.5% of the total exports.

1) Copper ores and concentrates - USD 753 million, an increase of 31.8% compared to the previous year;
2) Re-export of motor vehicles - USD 590.5 million, an increase of 75% compared to the previous year;
3) Ferroalloys - USD 431.6 million, an increase of 36% compared to the previous year;
4) Nitrogen fertilizers - USD 207 million, an increase of 216% compared to the previous year;
5) Wines - USD 173 million, an increase of 4% compared to the previous year;
6) Spirits - USD 106 million, 0% increase compared to the previous year;
7) Electricity - USD 84 million, an increase of 467% compared to the previous year;
8) Mineral and fresh waters - USD 80 million, a decrease of 23.5% compared to the previous year;
9) Medicines - USD 76.5 million, an increase of 5% compared to the previous year;
10) Precious metal ores and concentrates - USD 67 million, an increase of 113% over the previous year.

Other goods - USD 1.5 billion, an increase of 28% compared to the previous year.
