Tbilisi City Assembly discussed 2022 Tbilisi Budget yesterday. The draft budget was presented by Tbilisi Vice Mayor Irakli Khmaladze.
According to Irakli Khmaladze, Tbilisi budget would be GEL 545 million in 2022, which would be spent on various programs and projects.
As of Khmaladze, GEL 87 million has been allocated for road infrastructure, including GEL 52 million for district road infrastructure and GEL 35 million for central road infrastructure.
"GEL 175 million will be allocated for the improvement of the transport system, GEL 260 million – for Tbilisi Development Fund and infrastructure works, GEL 167 million for improvement of the ecological situation , GEL 176 million – for the health care sector, in total it has increased by GEL 20 million," - said Irakli Khmaladze.
According to him, GEL 208 million will be allocated for education, including GEL 145 million for the financing of kindergartens.
As of the Vice-Mayor of Tbilisi, GEL 49 million has been allocated for culture, education and sports.
