2.5 million GEL will be spent from the Tbilisi City budget to buy brenches for Chavchavadze Avenue. This is stated in the draft city budget 2020.
The draft budget project does not specify, how many brenches Tbilisi municipality intends to purchase.
Rehabilitation of Chavchavadze Avenue started in 2019; the cost of its rehabilitation is 8 603 088 GEL in total, including 5 161 853 GEL is the budget of the current year, while 3 441 235 GEL is envisaged by the next year.
However, the purchase of brenches for one of the central avenues in Tbilisi is not included in this amount and 2.5 million GEL is provided from the sub-program.
The following events will be implemented within the framework of City Improvement Project: restoration-rehabilitation of damaged city infrastructure facilities; construction of various facilities in the capital city, as well as arrangement of temporary structures and buildings within the frame of the different activities. 11 175 000 GEL is allocated for the improvement works.
