The planet's sole superpower, the United States of America, is celebrating its 250th independence anniversary. In 1776, thirteen colonies laid the foundation for a bold political experiment, which today manifests as the most powerful nation in human history. This historic date is the perfect moment to reflect on how America became the planet's leader, how it rules the world, and what sustains this supremacy.

The transformation of the US into a global leader is the result of deliberate and strategic development. The 19th-century Industrial Revolution built an incredible economic foundation for the country, while its decisive military-industrial involvement in the two world wars of the 20th century made the US role on the global stage irreplaceable. Ultimately, the triumphant conclusion of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union established the country as the undisputed superpower, a status it proudly maintains to this day.

In these 250 years, with the help of its unique geographical location, rich natural resources, intellectual capital, and free market economy, America has managed to create a synthesis that is difficult to find fault with.

Today, America is first in almost every key area that defines continuous progress. It remains the unwavering leader in economic size, military budget, and scientific potential. The world's leading technology giants, including NVIDIA, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon, Meta, and the pioneers of artificial intelligence, are the children of precisely the American innovative ecosystem and Silicon Valley.

At the same time, America is also first in terms of soft power influence: the film industry, music, leading universities, and lifestyle around the world are still defined by New York and Hollywood.

American influence on the global economy relies on two main pillars: the dollar and Wall Street. For decades, the dollar has maintained its status as the world's primary reserve currency, through which the vast majority of international trade and financial transactions are conducted. In addition, Washington plays a decisive role in global institutions such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, thereby directly shaping the global financial agenda.

Perhaps the most impressive, however, is Wall Street – the place where the planet's two largest stock exchanges, the NYSE and Nasdaq, are simultaneously represented. Together, these exchanges control nearly $100 trillion, a figure that not just any other single state, but the entire planet combined cannot compete with.

This is precisely where the unconditional trust of investors stems from. The world's largest investment funds, billionaires, and organizations trust the American market most of all. This trust is based on fundamental guarantees, namely: the rule of law, institutional strength, and the strictest protection of property rights. Even during geopolitical or economic crises, global investors take refuge in US Treasury bonds and American assets, because America offers them the highest standards of safety, transparency, and predictability. Added to all this is the fact that the only asset whose real risk is zero and upon which the entire global financial system relies is the Treasury bond, because in this world, truly guaranteed is only the fulfillment of obligations by America.

America manages to maintain its leadership through the ability of constant self-renewal and attracting the most talented people from around the world. From Silicon Valley to leading universities and modern space programs, the country is always at the vanguard of technological progress. The American system maximally encourages risk-taking, entrepreneurship, investment, and innovation, which always keeps the country on the front lines of the innovation frontier.

Behind all these achievements stand its main, fundamental values, which were written in the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago, namely: individual freedom, democracy, the rule of law, and freedom of speech.

The guarantee of security for this entire complex system is America's military arsenal, nuclear weapons, and unparalleled army, which will hesitate at nothing to protect national interests in any part of the world. That is why everyone knows well that going against America is inevitable death.

At the turn of a quarter of a millennium, the United States of America remains a bright beacon of freedom, prosperity, and progress, tirelessly continuing to build a better future for the entire world... Long live and glory to America!
