Georgia’s National Assessment and Examinations Center has published the results of the exceptional secondary enrollment process, through which 1,350 applicants secured places at higher and vocational education institutions. A total of 2,019 applicants registered for the process, held from October 5 to 9.
The initiative, launched by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during the transition period of higher education reform, aimed to help applicants who passed the minimum competency thresholds in the Unified National Examinations but did not initially secure student status.
Of those admitted, 866 qualified for bachelor’s degree programs - 331 at public and 535 at private universities. Another 466 secured places in vocational programs, while 18 were admitted to Georgian-language preparatory programs at public universities.
Overall, 35,500 applicants secured places in higher and vocational education institutions in 2026 through the national exams and secondary enrollment process. Applicants can check their results using the nine-digit identification code on their examination cards.
