The Department of Roads said, that as a result of heavy rain, the landslide on Rikoti caused traffic restrictions.
"On the 169 km (Rikoti section) of the international Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze highway, landslides occurred in several places as a result of heavy rain, and traffic was disrupted.
At this time, active cleaning works are being carried out in order to fully restore the road traffic in the shortest possible time," says the information released by the Roads Department.
