As of the Legislative Herald of Georgia, salaries of 514 employees of the Prosecutor's Office increased by 500 GEL based on Shotadze's order.
According to the department, amendments have concerned to 514 employees of low and middle circle, ordinary prosecutors, investigators and interns. The amendment has already entered into force and consequently, the employees of the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia will receive increased salaries from February.
More specifically, the increase in salaries should not affect Deputy Prosecutors General, District Prosecutors and Department Heads.
The aforementioned salary increase will cost Georgian taxpayers GEL 3 million annually.
Currently, the monthly salaries of officials of the Prosecutor General's Office are as follows:
Prosecutor General - GEL 6600;
First Deputy Prosecutor General - GEL 6200;
Deputy Prosecutor General - GEL 6000;
Head of the Department - GEL 5600.
