Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), Natia Turnava, on Wednesday, hosted IFC Regional Manager in the South Caucasus, Ivana Fernandes Duarte, discussing issues of bilateral cooperation.
According to the NBG press office, with the IFC support, the National Bank kicked off developing a sustainable finance framework and published The Sustainable Finance Roadmap for Georgia in April 2019.
“The National Bank of Georgia has close cooperation with the International Financial Corporation, proved by a number of joint successful projects.
In a bid to develop open banking, we have established the groundwork for another project – a technical sandbox.
IFC’s support is paramount for us, and we will continue fruitful cooperation in the future,” Turnava remarked.
