USAID, in collaboration with American tech giants Synopsys and National Instruments, will establish an Advanced Research Center in Armenia. The project was discussed by the head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power, with company representatives at the "Engineering City" in Yerevan.
The center will include several laboratories:
- Automotive
- Semiconductor
- Aerospace
- Smart Manufacturing
- Cybersecurity
As reported by the USAID office in Armenia, the agency has been supporting the country's high-tech sector for two decades, collaborating with American companies and the Armenian government. "We strive to contribute to Armenia's economic and digital security through continuous investments in the development of high technologies," the USAID statement reads.
