At the Bagratashen customs post in Armenia, an attempt to illegally import 88 mobile phones hidden from customs control has been prevented. This was reported by the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.
According to the committee, last week, a passenger car driven by a citizen named M.K. arrived at the customs post. During the inspection of the vehicle, 88 mobile phones of various models, including SAMSUNG GALAXY and REDMI NOTE, were found in a special compartment between the rear seat and the fuel tank.
"The cargo, which is the subject of violation of customs rules, as well as the vehicle transporting it, were confiscated and placed in storage," the statement said.
It is noted that a report has been drawn up confirming the fact of violation of customs rules provided for by Article 313 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Customs Regulation."
