On September 3, 2024, a significant step was taken in Yerevan to strengthen the country's human resource potential.
Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and Head of the Armenian Office of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) Madeleine Rauschenberger signed a Memorandum of Understanding, transferring the rights to a vital digital platform to the Armenian government.
The platform in question, developed with GIZ funding, is designed to implement a targeted program aimed at attracting highly qualified specialists. This program, approved by Government Decree 355-L, will now benefit from a powerful technological tool to enhance its effectiveness.
Starting January 2023, the Armenian Ministry of Economy becomes the full owner of this platform. It is expected that the platform’s use will significantly streamline and accelerate the application and verification processes for organizations participating in the specialist attraction program.
