Armenia plans to deepen economic collaboration with the United States and is prepared to work with the incoming U.S. administration. Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan announced this at a briefing following a government meeting on November 7.

According to the Deputy Minister, relations between the two countries rest on a strong institutional foundation that is independent of administrative changes in Washington. This year, Yerevan and Washington have already been working to elevate their engagement from a strategic dialogue to a strategic partnership.

The diplomat emphasized that bilateral cooperation, grounded in shared democratic values, will primarily expand in the economic sphere. Kostanyan expressed confidence that the ongoing efforts to strengthen ties will successfully continue under the administration of the newly elected 47th U.S. President, Donald Trump.
