On September 11, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó on the sidelines of the "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum. The meeting focused on discussing several important issues of bilateral cooperation.

A key outcome of the talks was the decision by both sides to intensify economic and trade cooperation. The ministers emphasized the need for additional joint efforts to expand the scope of collaboration in these areas.

In addition to economic matters, the parties discussed plans to establish permanent diplomatic missions in the capitals of both countries. This move is expected to significantly strengthen bilateral relations.

Significant attention was also given to deepening the partnership between Armenia and the European Union. Mirzoyan highlighted that the decision to initiate visa liberalization talks for Armenia was made by the EU Council during Hungary's current presidency. He expressed hope that the negotiations on expanding the new Armenia-EU partnership agenda and the approval of the relevant document would proceed successfully in the coming months.

Regional issues were also addressed during the meeting. Mirzoyan reaffirmed Armenia’s stance in the peace process with Azerbaijan, which is reflected in its proposal for a peace agreement and the concept of unblocking regional communications.
