The Government of Armenia has approved the signing of a key tax agreement with Japan aimed at significantly improving conditions for mutual investments and trade between the two countries. The decision was made during a cabinet meeting on December 19.
The new agreement is designed to create a transparent and stable tax environment for businesses in both nations, eliminating situations where entrepreneurs are required to pay taxes in both Armenia and Japan. This is particularly important for attracting Japanese investments into the Armenian economy.
According to the government’s assessment, the agreement will not only boost trade turnover between the countries but also promote the exchange of technologies and expertise. Additionally, the document will help Armenia strengthen its position in international tax relations.
