Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with the newly elected Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Hendrikus Wilhelmus Maria Schoof, on the sidelines of the 4th European Political Community Summit at Blenheim Palace. The parties discussed strengthening bilateral relations, cooperation with the EU, and regional issues.
On July 18, during the 4th European Political Community Summit, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the newly elected head of the Dutch government, Hendrikus Wilhelmus Maria Schoof.
Pashinyan congratulated his colleague on assuming office and expressed hope for a new impetus in the development of multifaceted relations between the two countries. He noted that in recent years, the political dialogue between Armenia and the Netherlands has reached a high level.
Schoof, in turn, emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation with Armenia and the Netherlands' readiness to make efforts to develop relations in political, economic, and humanitarian spheres.
The leaders discussed Armenia's cooperation with the European Union, highlighting the importance of starting negotiations on visa liberalization. They also touched on the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the humanitarian issues of displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh.
