On October 4, a key meeting took place between Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, and representatives from the United Kingdom—Ambassador John Gallagher and Consul General for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Kenan Poleo.
According to the press service of Armenia's Ministry of Economy, the main topics of discussion included prospects for developing tourism, services, trade, and infrastructure, as well as opportunities for attracting investment. Special attention was given to the importance of strengthening direct ties between the business communities of both countries.
Minister Papoyan emphasized that Armenia offers numerous opportunities for investors, noting that the country’s legal framework and government policies are aimed at attracting investment. In the context of investment opportunities and sustainable economic development, the minister presented details of the "Crossroads of Peace" program, developed by the Armenian government, to the British diplomats.
The parties engaged in an in-depth discussion on a wide range of issues concerning the development of economic relations between the two countries.
